A procedural court order from Judge Alison J. Nathan setting deadlines for motions in limine filings in the criminal case against Ghislaine Maxwell, issued approximately one month before her federal trial began.
This is a routine procedural order in the United States v. Ghislaine Maxwell criminal case (20-CR-330), filed on October 25, 2021. Judge Nathan instructs both the prosecution and defense on how to file their response briefs to motions in limine—requiring omnibus (combined) filings rather than separate documents. The order also addresses the temporary sealing of briefs and requires the parties to justify any proposed redactions under the Second Circuit's Lugosch test by October 29, 2021. This document represents the pretrial procedural maneuvering that occurred approximately one month before Maxwell's federal sex trafficking trial commenced on November 29, 2021.
