Ph.D. in linguistics from the Univer- sity of Texas. He is a fellow of the AAAI and was founder of the Cogni- tive Science Society and co-founder of the Journal of Cognitive Science. He is the author of more than 25 books on learning, language, artifi- cial intelligence, education, memory, reading, e-learning, and story- telling.
