Case Title / Number Recent Developments Predication / Background VCS Jeffrey Epstein 31E-NY-3027571 Update • On 7/11/2019, a second search warrant was executed at Epstein's residence in New York upon which numerous computers, electronic devices, and digital media were seized. Agents were able to recover all of the digital media observed on the initial search executed on 7/06/2019. • On 12/06/2018, FBI NY initiated a case after Southern District of New York (SONY) contacted FBI NY regarding several victims that had been sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein in the mid 2000's. Epstein invited minors into his residences, one of which was located in Manhattan, New York (NY) and paid them to provide massages to him which turned sexual in nature. Afterwards, Epstein paid the minors sums of money ranging from $200 -$1,000. On 7/05/2019, FBI NY was notified by CBP that Epstein was scheduled to arrive at Teterboro Airport in Bergen County, New Jersey, on 7/06/2019. On 7/06/2019, Epstein was arrested in NJ and transported to NY without incident. On 7/06/2019, a search warrant was executed at Epstein's residence in Manhattan, NY upon which several items were seized. • On 7/08/2019, Epstein pled not guilty and will be detained until his detention hearing scheduled for 7/15/2019. Of the 10 co-conspirators, the following have been located and served GJS; three in Florida, one in Boston, one in NYC, one in Connecticut. Attempts to locate the remaining four co- conspirators have been unsuccessful. A lead is being sent to Cleveland to locate and serve one co-conspirator, who is a wealthy businessman in Ohio. The current location for the remaining three co-conspirators are unknown at this time. • On 7/9-10/2019, a team comprising of eight SA/TFOs and two AUSAs traveled to various locations in Florida to interview approximately 25 victims.
