The receivers are located on the top obeli of the radio compartment at F.F. 158.• They are installed in a dual mount attached to the shelf channels with four (4) NAS 517-2 screws and anchor nuts. Clark. The top GAC installed sense antema is used for system No. 1 and the skeg sense antenna for ADF-2. The dual ADF systems are wired in accordance with EAS drawings 180610 and 180611. Both systems are controlled by the Collins NCS-31 systems. Installed dual Collins DME-40 interrogators on the top shelf of the electronics compartment at F.S. 145. The dual mount for these units is attached to the shelf channels with four (4) NAS 517-3 screws and anchor nuts. Dual Collins 339F-12 distancelground speed indicators are installed on the instrument panel using MSP 9963 clamps. The existing GAEC installed Collins 237Z-1 antennas at F, S. 172 and 228 are used for this installation. The DME systems are wired in accordance with EAS drawings 180604 and 180605. Installed dual Collins TDR-90 transponders using the dual Collins NCS-31 systems for control. The transponders are installed on the top shelf of the electronics compartment at F.S. 150. The dual mount for these units is attached to the shelf channels with four (4) NAS 517-2 screws= and anchor nuts. The existing GAEC installed antenna at. F.S. 562 is used for No. 2 ATCT.. A New Collins 237Z-1 antenna installed at F.S. 515 is used for No. 1 ATCT. This antenna is installed in accordance with EAS drawing 680061 dated 10-21-72. The dual transponder systems are wired in accordance with EAS drawing 180600. Installed a Collins 54W-1C Comparator Monitor system. The monitor is located on the top shelf of the radio compartment at F. S. 161. The mount for this unit is attached to the shelf equipment channels with four (4) each NAS 517-2 screws and anchor nuts. The 914G-1 comparator warning controller is located in the center console forwaid of the power levers. System wiring is shown on EAS drawing 180623. 16. Installed VHF NAV and compass switching systems as detailed on EAS drawings 180597 and 180533. The transfer relays for these systems are installed on an aluminum licit section located at F.S. 777 on. the shelf No. 2 of the avionics compartment. The control switches are located on either pilot's instrument panel. Installed IDC 575-25850-309 MACH/Airspeed indicators for the pilot and co- pilot. These indicators are approved to TSO C-46 and have range and markings appropriate to the G-ll59 speed limitations. The instruments are clamp mounted in the L. H. top position of the basic "T" on each pilot's flight instrument panel using MEP 9963 clarnks. The existing pitot/static air lines are connected to the indicators. System wiring is shown an EAS drawing 180417. 18. Installed dual Sperry 2594620-908 servoed altimeters. The instruments are clamp mounted in the R.H. top position of the basic "T" on each pilatf0 The pilot's altimeter is driven by the Sperry 2587400-844 air data computer and the co-pilot's altimeter by the Sperry ADC-2OO altitude computer. Installed a wire rotting trough along the inboard edge of the R.11. cockpit side console. Lostallution is shown on FAS drawing 680016. 26. Removed Grumman installed elttctronice junction box and replaced it with a smaller junction box in the top section of the radio compartment. The new box is constructed using .040 2024T3 aluminum panels nicking up the Cirturman installed fasteners. Deutsch terminal blocks are mounted on the new tanels. 27. Installed an auxiliary electronic compartment blower on shelf No. 4 at F.S. 155. The blower is a Joy Mfg. Co. Model AVR-45-30t714 PIN X702-137B.
