It has been determined that the interrelationship between this change and any previously approved configuration will not introduce any adverse effect upon the airworthiness of the aircraft. It has been determined that the interrelationship between this change and any previously approved configuration will not introduce any adverse effect upon the airworthiness of the aircraft. This determination included, but was not limited to, consideration that this modification provides power from the same power source that the Gulfstream Aerospace Model G1159A (VSCF) (GIII) aircraft uses to control the APU's surge control valve, the installed equipment will function safely and properly as it was intended and the following specific sections of the applicable requirements of the Federal Aviation Regulations have been complied with: 25.1301(a)(b)(c)(d), 25.1309(a), 25.1353(a), 25.1357(a)(c), and 25.1359(d). IFR Avionics, Inc. • : 7035 Sophia Ave. Van Nuys CA. 91406 Instructions For Continued Airworthiness For a Artex ELT Document No. ICAW ARTEX 406 This alteration to this aircraft obligates the aircraft operator to include the following maintenance information provided by this document in the owner/operator's Aircraft Maintenance Manual and the ownedoperator's Aircraft Scheduled Maintenance Program. The Artex 406 ELT Line Replaceable Units' (LRU) maintenance is on condition and there is no periodic, preventative or scheduled maintenance required for the continued operation of this unit. Should any failure of the Artex 406 ELT System occur, it should be properly noted, and the unit should be removed from the aircraft. Once a failure has occurred, it is advisable to do a visual inspection of the Artex 406 ELT system. This inspection should include, but is not limited to the Artex 406 ELT mounting, the antenna, the NAV Interface Unit, associated wiring. and any related hardware. This inspection should be performed through elementary means. 1. Maintenance, repair. reinstallation and testing information for the Mex 406 ELT system in this aircraft are contained in the Artex Description, Operation, Installation, and Maintenance Manual document number 570- 5001 REV A. 2. The Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) part numbers and other necessary part numbers contained in the installation data documentation for this modification should be placed into the aircraft's owner/operators appropriate Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC). 3. Wiring diagram information contained in the installation data documentation for this modification should be placed into the aircraft owner/operators appropriate airplane Wiring Diagram Manual. 4. The scheduled Maintenance tasks required by this modification are to added to the aircraft owner/operators appropriate airplane maintenance program are as follows: a. Perform on at least an annual basis a periodic inspection of the equipment rack, equipment mountings, associated wiring, cables, connectors, hardware, antenna and related aircraft structure for integrity, security, wear. chaffing, and etc. Special attention should be given to the aircraft primary structure with regards to fatigue and stress cracking, corrosion, and etc. NOTE: These inspections may appear as part of opportunity inspections or recommended Zonal inspection tasks. 5. Should it become necessary to remove a component of the Artex 406 ELT system, secure the associated cables and wiring, collar the applicable circuit breakers, placard the aircraft that the unit has been removed. Revise the weight & balance and the equipment list arid make a logbook entry stating the unit has been removed for service (refer to section 91.213 of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations and/or the aircraft's MEL) 6. The Artex 406 ELT System and its related primary components can only be repaired at a factory authorized repair center or an appropriately rated FAA Part 145-repair station. N/C Instructions For Continued Airworthiness For a Samsung Electronics Co. 170MP 17" LCD Monitor This alteration to this aircraft obligates the aircraft operator to include the following maintenance information provided by this document in the owner/operator's Aircraft Maintenance Manual and the owner/operator's Aircraft Scheduled Maintenance Program. The Samsung Electronics Co. Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) maintenance is on condition and there Is no periodic, preventative or scheduled maintenance required for the continued operation of this unit. Should any failure of the Samsung Electronics Co. 17' LCD Monitor system occur, it should be properly noted, and the unit should be removed from the aircraft. Once a failure has occurred, it is advisable to do a visual inspection of the 17" LCD Monitor system. This inspection should include, but is not limited to the 17' LCD Monitor mounting, associated wiring, and any related hardware. This inspection should be performed through elementary means. 1. Maintenance, repaired, reinstall, and testing information for the 17' LCD Monitor system in this aircraft are contained in the Samsung Electronics Co. Owners Instructions (P/N EIN68-00108E-01 dated 1999, or later). 2. The Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) part numbers and other necessary part numbers contained in the installation data documentation for this modification should be placed into the aircraft's owner/operators appropriate Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC). 3. Wiring diagram information contained in the installation data documentation for this modification should be placed into the aircraft owner/operators appropriate airplane Wiring Diagram Manual. 4. The scheduled Maintenance tasks required by this modification are to added to the aircraft owner/operators appropriate airplane maintenance program are as follows: Perform on at least an annual basis a periodic inspection of the equipment rack, equipment mountings, associated wiring, cables, connectors, hardware, and related aircraft structure for integrity, security, wear, chaffing, and etc. Special attention should be given to the aircraft primary structure with regards to fatigue and stress cracking, corrosion, and etc. NOTE: These inspections may appear as part of opportunity inspections or recommended Zonal inspection tasks. 5. IFR Avionics, Inc. 7035 Sophia Ave. Van Nuys Ca. 91406 Document No. ICAW-PS8680Z Dated: March 16, 1999 REV N/C Instructions For Continued Airworthiness For a ProScan PS8680Z Digital Video Disk (DVD) Player This alteration to this aircraft obligates the aircraft operator to include the following maintenance information provided by this document in the owner/operators Aircraft Maintenance Manual and the owner/operators Aircraft Scheduled Maintenance Program. The ProScan Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) maintenance is on condition and there is no periodic, preventative or scheduled maintenance required for the continued operation of this unit. Should any failure of the ProScan PS8680Z DVD, it should be properly noted, and the unit should be removed from the aircraft. Once a failure has occurred, it is advisable to do a visual inspection of the DVD system. This inspection should include, but is not limited to the DVD mounting, associated wiring, and any related hardware. This inspection should be performed through elementary means. 1. Maintenance, repaired, reinstall, and testing information for the DVD system in this aircraft are contained in the ProScan User's Manual (Manual No. TOCOM 15346010). 2. The Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) part numbers and other necessary part numbers contained in the installation data documentation for this modification should be placed into the aircraft's owner/operators appropriate Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC). 3. Wiring diagram information contained in the installation data documentation for this modification should be placed into the aircraft owner/operators appropriate airplane Wiring Diagram Manual. The scheduled Maintenance tasks required by this modification are to added to the aircraft owner/operators appropriate airplane maintenance program are as follows: Perform on at least an annual basis a periodic inspection of the equipment mountings, associated wiring, cables, connectors, hardware, and related aircraft structure for integrity, security, wear, chaffing, and etc. Special attention should be given to the aircraft primary structure with regards to fatigue and stress cracking, corrosion, and etc. NOTE: These inspections may appear as part of opportunity inspections or recommended Zonal inspection tasks. 5. Should it become necessary to remove the DVD secure the associated cables and wiring, collar the applicable circuit breakers, placard the aircraft that the unit has been removed, revise the weight & balance and the equipment list and make a logbook entry the unit has been removed for service refer to section 91.213 of Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations and/or the aircraft's MEL). 6. The DVD and its related primary components can only be repaired at a factory authorized repair center or an appropriately rated F.A.A. Part 145 repair station. NOTE: Should structural repairs be necessary to the airframe they should be performed in accordance with F.A.A. approved data, the Structural Repair Manual from the Airframe manufacturer (SRM) or guidance contained in Advisory Circular (AC) 43.13-1A, if applicable. 7.
