As discussed, attached please find a formal letter requesting that the accounts we have previously discussed be kept open for one month from today's date. We will also send a hard copy to your office. Best, Assistant United States Attorney Southern District of New York l St. Andrew's Plaza New York. NY 10007 From: Bourtin, Nicolas Sent: Tuesday, October 22, 2019 1:41 PM To: Cc: >; Seaman, Gillian R Subject: RE: October 3, 2019 Grand Jury Subpoena to TD Bank N.A. CONFIDENTIAL TREATMENT REQUESTED Thanks for getting back to us on those two points. I also wanted to let you know our plan to close the other accounts. In order to accommodate the government's request, we'd propose the following process: • TD Bank will send the account holders a letter informing them that the Bank is closing their accounts within 14 days. The letter will inform account holders that the Bank will wire the funds to an account of their designation and will contain specific instructions on how to provide the Bank with the wire instructions. The letter will also give customers a phone number to call with any questions. • If TD Bank doesn't hear from the customer after 5 business days from the date the letter is sent, the Bank will attempt to call the customer to request that they call the Bank about closing their account and providing wire instructions. • If at the end of the 14 days the Bank still hasn't heard from the customer or doesn't have wire instructions, the Bank will cut a check and mail it to the customer. • Before TD Bank sends any checks, we'll let you know which account holders we haven't heard from and for whom we don't have wire instructions. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns about this process. We'll look out for the keep open letter. Many thanks. Nit EFTA00090622
