So far here is a brief description. • The Ruckus AP that is setup to cover the southside of the island that is installed on the tower where the Dragonwave is not working. • There was a network loop between the dragonwave and the netgear causing packet drops and unstable network. • • fixed • Install two switches (Outside shelter, Gym) to be able to monitor both the Dragonwave and Ruckus bodge • Took out the apple router that was working as DHCP and NAT. • Brought the Cisco 2921 router online. Now this is the main DHCP and NAT router • Installed the fiber cable and module for the VINGN connection. This was installed in Port S on the fiver cable that goes to Vessum • I re.enable the dragonwave management ports so I can verify the configuration • I changed the password of both radios (the default password was configured Jermaine I'll get you the new password so you can file them) • I added some of basic monitonng. For the dragonwave (I would be able to add full monitoring until I reconfigure the units) • I added monitoring to the Cisco router and the switch in the shelter We did some testing before we left with youtube and Apple7V and all were working without buffering. The Dragonwave will have to be taken offline once the VINGN circuit goes online. The software on the unit is old and it has some bugs that wd cause issues once the units are up for about 1-2 months. The connection will drop until the unit is rebooted.
