Hope you are somewhere fun! The meeting in Phoenix is the 10th, not the 11th. As I specifically set up that date with them because it is a day I plan to be in Phoenix (and the flights there cost me while I am on leave) I am inclined to attend the meeting on the 10th and treat It as an information session. What I would Ilke, If it is possible, is to spend an hour of so on the phone or on Skype with you on the 9th, so you can give me directions on what to say and not say.. questions to ask, information to glean, etc.. and I will collect the information, and (unless they say, 'oh lets Just forget the whole thing.. there is nothing her to worry about".. :) ) I indicate to them that a follow up meeting along with my advisor will probably be required a few weeks after that. Sound good? Do you have any time on the 9th (or 8th if you want, or early on the 10th if absolutely necessary)? Lawrence Lawrence M. I'm out of town this week for my kids' spring break, and I also can't do the meeting on the 11th-1'm booked solid that day. So we will need to reschedule that. The easiest thing to do might be for you to email whoever you've been dealing with there, tell them you've hired me to advise you, and tell them that you will need to reschedule the meeting a week or two out so that your new advisor has time to get up to speed. Let me know If that all makes sense. Thanks, and I look forward to working with you! During our meeting I plan to discuss new information that my office has received related to the allegation of non-consensual physical contact at the 2016 Australian Skeptics Convention. The new information includes a conversation I have had with a witness, this person was named in the BuzzFeed article, and a conversation with the anonymous female who experienced the nonconsensual physical contact. I look forward to meeting with you again to discuss this further. Thanks! Carla Carla Mahnke, Ed.D. Sr EEO Continent Office of Equily and inclusion Arizona State University Mai Code. 1304 Tempe.
