Nancy's mother was rushed to emergency room in Seattle on Friday and it looked like the end. Nancy was already up there, but I rushed there that night as did her brother (who I flew in from Duluth.),.. anyway, she had a remarkable and unexpected recovery, and the prognosis looks far less severe than before (though we will probably want to move her down here if she gets out).. I am now back in Portland .. just got back, and flying to Phoenix tomorrow.. I had purchased a refundable ticket for nancy to albuqurque on sat, but I will be very surprised if she is able to come down.. unless her mother is already situated in an assisted living rehab facility she will probably want to be up there.. just to give you a heads up.. it may be just me..
