Alfredo Rodriguez was Jeffrey Epstein's butler/houseman who was convicted of obstruction of justice for attempting to sell Epstein's journal to an undercover agent. He served time in federal prison and has since died.
Alfredo Rodriguez appears primarily in government records and court depositions as a key witness and later criminal defendant. He is mentioned in deposition testimony from August 7, 2009, where he testified about guests at Epstein's house. Rodriguez became criminally involved when he stole what was described as a journal or calendar documenting Epstein's activities and attempted to sell it, but was caught in a sting operation trying to sell it to an undercover agent. Unlike Epstein who served jail time in a county facility, Rodriguez was sent to federal prison for his obstruction of justice charge. One mention also references him having check-writing authority and ATM card access to bank accounts associated with NES, LLC along with Janusz Banasiak.
