Knight was the trustee of the Rudkin Testamentary Trust, which was established in 1967, under the will of Henry Rudkin (Rudkin's family helped found Pepperidge Farm, the food products company that was sold to Campbell Soup Company in the early 1960's; the trust was initially funded with proceeds of this sale).
