Who is Viktoriia Makhova in the Epstein files?

She is a correspondent of Jeffrey Epstein who appears in about 81 emails from October 2017 to February 2018. She wrote to him directly, was copied on a lawyer's email, and was named in his daily schedule. The emails show her arranging visits for herself, friends and "girls," sending photos of a woman called Alina, and asking him for advice. The files give no clear information on her occupation, age or background.

What did Makhova's emails with Epstein discuss?

Most of the emails are short and informal, covering meeting times, travel, greetings and requests for advice. Several coordinate visits by young women, such as the Nov 28, 2017 meeting and the Dec 2017 trip to Palm Beach and Miami. In a Dec 4, 2017 email she offered to reach "another girls from Ukraine." Others involve an immigration lawyer, Arda Beskardes, and Epstein's encouragement for her to get "secure and safe." Some of Epstein's replies ask for "sexy" photos.

Do the documents prove Makhova did anything illegal?

No. The emails show she communicated with Epstein and was involved in arranging contact between him and other women. They do not say what happened at those meetings, how old the women were, or whether she was paid, and they do not say she committed a crime. The files contain no legal filings or investigative records that name her as a subject. Readers should treat the emails as evidence of a relationship, not as findings of wrongdoing.

Is there public information about Viktoriia Makhova outside the documents?

No Wikipedia article or news coverage specifically about her was found. What is known about her comes from the emails themselves.

Watch: Viktoriia Makhova in the Epstein files

1:11

Narrated from the AI-generated summary of the documents. Numbers reflect the archive at generation time.

Viktoriia Makhova appears in about 81 emails, all from roughly October 2017 to February 2018, in which she corresponds directly with Jeffrey Epstein. The exchanges cover arranging visits by young women and "friends," photos she sent of a woman named Alina, and her own personal and legal affairs, with Epstein sometimes asking for "sexy" photos in reply.

All of the documents that mention Makhova are emails, and about six of them list her in the From, To or Cc header. She also appears in many threads where Epstein or his staff quote or forward her messages, including a scheduling note from Lesley Groff. The tone is familiar. She calls him "Jeffrichka," thanks him for his help, and sends holiday and birthday greetings. In several threads she arranges for "girls" to visit him, and in one she offers to introduce more women from Ukraine. The files contain no flight logs, legal filings, financial records or other non-email records for her.

Key Highlights

•On Nov 28, 2017, Makhova replied to Epstein about a visit: "It's perfect because girls can't before! We can come like 4pm 4.30." Epstein's schedule for that day, sent by his assistant, lists a "4:30pm Appt w/Viktoriia Makhova and friends." Lesley Groff also exchanged messages with her that day.
•On Dec 3–4, 2017, Makhova emailed Epstein several photos under the subject "Alina." In a follow-up she wrote, "Also if you want I can reach another girls from Ukraine," and Epstein answered that he was sorry she "didnt make it down today" and asked whether Dasha was "too uncomfortable." The documents do not give the ages of the women discussed.
•Epstein's replies to her are often brief and personal. They include "sexy photo?" (Jan 20, 2018), "sexy phoots?" (Dec 14, 2017), "have you trained dasha" (Dec 14, 2017), "what ever happened to the girl" (Dec 8, 2017) and "She is great - the best. But she broke a very clear promise" (Jan 28, 2018).
•In Oct 2017, immigration attorney M. Arda Beskardes emailed Epstein with Makhova copied, quoting "$1760 government fees, $3000 for me." In Jan 2018 Epstein asked her "did you call arda?" and told her to "just concentrate on getting yourself secure and safe." This suggests he helped with a legal or immigration matter, but the emails do not spell out the details or who paid.
•On Oct 17, 2017, Makhova wrote to thank Epstein "for everything." On Dec 2, 2017, she wrote, "You are so good to us!" after he asked staff to arrange a car and tickets so that a group could travel to Palm Beach and then Miami. Later threads mention her being in Los Angeles with Dasha and spending time in New York.
•The names Makhova, Viktoriia and Viktoriia Makhova are most likely the same person. Dasha and Arishka are other first names that recur in these threads, and the documents do not identify them further.
