He completed psychiatric residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital (1975-77) and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (1977-78), where he was Chief Fellow in Forensic Psychiatry. He has been board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neur
