Who is Nicole Junkermann in the Epstein files?

She is a Düsseldorf-born investor in London and the founder of NJF Holdings and NJF Capital. In the files she is one of Epstein's most frequent correspondents. 1,678 documents mention her, and 889 emails have her in the From, To or Cc header. They cover meetings, travel, introductions and business, often arranged through Epstein's assistant Lesley Groff. She also appears on flight manifest entries from 2002 and 2007.

Does she appear on Epstein's flight logs?

Yes. Four manifest entries name her, dated 22 March 2002, 31 August 2002, 2 September 2002 and 22 March 2007. The entries as shown give only her name, so they don't show the route, the other passengers or the purpose of each trip. Appearing on a manifest shows she travelled on the plane, not what happened on the flight.

What did the emails between Junkermann and Epstein cover?

Mostly logistics and friendly contact: where each of them would be (Paris, London, New York), calls, meetings and scheduling. They also cover business introductions, such as the 2014 recommendation letter Epstein asked Larry Summers to write for her, and a 2014 meeting she joined in New York. Press coverage and her Wikipedia entry describe the tone as unusually affectionate and say the contact continued after Epstein's 2008 conviction, until 2019. We do not summarise the most personal exchanges here. Read the original emails for the full context.

Has Junkermann been accused of wrongdoing?

Nothing in these documents accuses her of any crime. Press reports say she stepped back from or lost several public roles in early 2026 over her closeness to Epstein, and quote her as saying she was 'deceived and misled by him'. Appearing in the files, even often, is not evidence of wrongdoing.

NJF Capital is the investment arm of NJF Holdings, which she founded in 2012 after the sale of Infront Sports & Media, where she had been a major shareholder. It is based in London and invests in healthcare, biotech, fintech, sports and deep tech. Her Wikipedia entry has the details.

Narrated from the AI-generated summary of the documents. Numbers reflect the archive at generation time.

Nicole Junkermann, a German-born London investor and founder of NJF Capital, corresponded directly with Jeffrey Epstein for years. The files hold hundreds of emails between them, and she also appears on flight manifests from 2002 and 2007.

She appears mostly in direct email correspondence. 889 of the 1,678 documents that mention her have her in the From, To or Cc header, usually in exchanges with Epstein or with his assistant Lesley Groff. Other records include four flight manifest entries (2002 and 2007), a 2014 itinerary entry for a phone date with her, a calendar to-do about when to see her, a 2012 travel schedule listing her among contacts, and an investment profile of her from Elkstone Capital International Services. Dated documents run from 2002 to 2007 in the archive's metadata, though many emails carry later dates (2011–2017) in their headers. Nearly all of her appearances are emails, with very few legal, government or financial records.

Key Highlights

•She is in the From/To/Cc header of 889 emails. Many are short, informal exchanges with Epstein about meeting up, e.g. April 2011 ('I will be in Paris until monday'), June 2013 ('Just left SOF how long are you staying?') and February 2016 (Epstein: 'Im in paris, . wil miss you in new york'; her reply: 'Miss you already!').
•Her name is on four flight manifest entries dated 2002 (22 March, 31 August, 2 September) and 2007 (22 March).
•In December 2014, Epstein's staff arranged for her to fly to New York and attend a 2pm meeting. She replied that she had 'just landed in NY' and was joining the meeting, and Epstein asked to see her afterwards.
•In July 2014, Epstein asked Larry Summers to write her a recommendation letter. Staff emails show they were trying to find the right recipient at the World Economic Forum (Klaus Schwab or Klaus Kleinfeld).
•In 2017 she exchanged emails with Epstein, Lesley Groff and Ehud Barak. They covered arrangements for a delivery (June 2017), meetings (August 2017) and a news article Epstein sent her about a private donor funding scientists. Epstein appears to have mentioned this to her ('Better on Monday when I am alone').
•Her top connections in the archive are Epstein (1,405 shared documents), Lesley Groff (100) and Ehud Barak (69), so her contact ran through his scheduling staff and an associate from the Barak circle.
•Public reporting says her relationship with Epstein cost her several roles in early 2026, including a charity trusteeship, and that she said she was 'deceived and misled by him'. Being named in the files is not itself evidence of wrongdoing.
