"Lesley s" is not the 1900–1979 film director named in the entity's background. It looks like a name-fragment match for "Lesley", the first name of Jeffrey Epstein's assistant, who is identified elsewhere in the files as Lesley Groff. The files include emails signed "Lesley, Assistant to Jeffrey Epstein" and others in which Epstein or his contacts ask Lesley to handle tasks.

Six of the 15 documents are emails with Lesley in the From/To/Cc header. One is a December 2013 email signed "Lesley, Assistant to Jeffrey Epstein", which appears in several forwarded copies. Others show Lesley being asked to deliver items, scan documents, and receive a passport in April 2019. A December 2016 email opens "Dear Lesley," and another thanks Lesley for helping with the use of a New York apartment. Two documents are not correspondence. One is a name list containing "SMITH, LESLY S", which is probably an unrelated person. The other is a text-message log with the fragment "I emailed you Lesley s", which is truncated and unclear. A House Oversight document also lists a Lesley Groff among four people who figured in the FBI investigation, but the available text gives no detail on what that involvement was.

Key Highlights

• •A December 2013 email, forwarded in several copies, is signed "Lesley, Assistant to Jeffrey Epstein" and says "hopefully we can circle back to this soon". This identifies the role as an executive assistant.
• •One email thanks Lesley for how welcoming they were about the "periodic availability of the New York apartment". Another, from April 2019, asks "Should I send her passport to Lesley?" and gets the reply "i did". Both show Lesley handling logistics for Epstein's household and contacts.
• •A subject line reads "Fwd: Lesley: Please deliver to Jeffrey" and is marked high importance. Other emails ask that Lesley scan a document or show it to "Leon".
• •The name appears with Jeffrey Epstein in 13 documents and with Lesley Groff in 9, which supports reading "Lesley s" as the assistant. Donald Trump (9 documents), Barack Obama (6) and Melania Trump (3) are also linked statistically, but the visible text does not show Lesley interacting with them. Those links probably come from shared documents such as news-style or reference material.
• •The entity's background, an American film director (1900–1979), does not match anything in the documents. The "SMITH, LESLY S" name list and the truncated text message are the weakest hits and should not be treated as evidence about this person.
