My sa=es manager and I spoke about everything on Friday. The following are the c=ncerns and resolutions: 1. Transmission air leak — We believe the splitter is =ot fully disengaging which is causing the air leak. We will get that fixed=before delivery. EFTA_R1_01598973 EFTA02482302
2. Transmission =eak — From what the inspection told me, it appears as if the trans=ission pan gasket has a slight leak. We will get that fixed before deliver=. 3. Below spec brakes on the r=ar/rear axle — We will replace the brakes to bring the truck up to=DOT spec. 4. Throw out bearing no=se — Right now, we do not know what the cause of that noise is. It=could be wear, or it could be out of adjustment. We will make sure this it=m is corrected before delivery. 5. Clearance lights missing on the cab — This truck had a sunshade o=er the windshield which had lights built into it. At some point and time, =he sunshade was removed, and with it, the lights as well. We will not be r=placing that item since it does not violate any DOT regulations.=/u> 6. Cracks in the bed — The cracks=are from wear and tear. The cracks do not violate any DOT regulations so w= would not be attempting to mend the cracks. In addition, trying to mend t=e cracks could lead complications later down the road (i.e. metal fatigue,=bigger cracks if the welds breaks...). I look forward to your response.
