This was done to allow a =roader, linear charge profile to be set -charging parameters =re now based on voltage set points rather than state of charge =alculations done internally with different references. -max charge voltage =as been set to 58.5V and the batteries will not stop charging untill a =oltage 1.5V over the set limit is a achieved for 15 seconds. This gives =hem the ability to serpase the previous charge voltage of 56.7V - the main issue =hat caused so much down time before was as follows. A target charge =oltage that matched the Aquion batteries was not possible with the =revious profile. Compiled on that was faulty Aquion circuit boards =reventing the batteries from properly charging to a suitable voltage. =quion, as we know, is no more, so it's impossible to obtain =eplacement parts. Aquions bms never met the as advertised performance =nd created more issues than we could have imagined. In short, the =hanged I made allowed for a higher, more suitable battery voltage to be =chieved and prevents the premature shut down we saw before.
