To: G Ma From: Peter an e son Sent: Mon 4/1/2002 9:40:56 PM Dear G, I am thrown. Got back tonight from Salzburg to an email saying that Messier is leaving Paris for New York on Wed so my lunch with him on Thursday to discuss his board (Jeffrey will explain if I did not tell you the background) is postponed. So I am very disappointed. But also because I was going to ask you whether I could stay on for a few days to have complete peace (without fuss and policemen) so as to start writing a 10 000 word introduction to a book that I have to write in the next week. I have absolutely no where I can work in London and if I stay elsewhere in the country I have to make police arrangements etc. So I don't know what to do now, whether to go to Paris and work, minus Messier, or abort.
