FBI FD-302 interview report documenting the voluntary surrender of Michael Thomas's iPhone to investigators, with Thomas being a Bureau of Prisons correctional officer connected to the Jeffrey Epstein death investigation.
This is an FBI interview report (FD-302) dated August 26, 2019, documenting the collection of an Apple iPhone XS from Michael Thomas through his attorney Shannon Farrar of the Law Offices of Montell Figgins in Newark, NJ. Thomas signed a consent form from the DOJ Office of Inspector General authorizing the search of his phone. This document is significant because Michael Thomas was one of the correctional officers on duty at the Metropolitan Correctional Center when Jeffrey Epstein was found dead on August 10, 2019. The phone collection occurred just 16 days after Epstein's death, suggesting investigators were examining communications between prison staff during the critical time period.
