An internal DOJ email chain from September 2019 documenting the transmission of investigative materials from the New Mexico Attorney General's office to federal prosecutors investigating Jeffrey Epstein's possible collaborators.
This document is an internal email exchange between Department of Justice officials coordinating the receipt and storage of evidence from New Mexico's state investigation into Jeffrey Epstein. Chief Deputy Attorney General Clara Moran sent files related to the 'continued investigation into possible collaborators of Jeffrey Epstein' to the U.S. Attorney's Office in New York. The materials were shared via a secure link with an expiration date and also sent by physical CD, suggesting the files contained sensitive investigative evidence that New Mexico officials believed could aid in federal prosecution of Epstein's associates.
