Email thread from July 2019 between Jeffrey Epstein's defense attorneys and federal prosecutors coordinating the return of personal items seized during Epstein's arrest.
This is an email exchange between Marc Fernich (Epstein's attorney), Martin Weinberg (co-counsel), and Assistant U.S. Attorney from the Southern District of New York regarding U.S. v. Epstein, 19 Cr. 490 (RMB). The emails coordinate the return of Epstein's phone, cash, and other personal property that were confiscated when he was arrested on federal sex trafficking charges. The correspondence occurred just days after Epstein's July 6, 2019 arrest at Teterboro Airport, during the initial bail hearing phase of his case.

The best way to coordinate this is to contact the case agent directly — I just spoke to her so she'll be expecting your call. They're running around, so if you reach out and aren't able to connect today please let me know, but hopefully we can get it coordinated. Marty's returning to Boston shortly. Can you arrange for me to take possession of those items? Thanks, Marc Marc Fernich, Esq.
