I explained the situation and he said that yes Duane Williams should be able to initiate the transfer before you get out. His suggestion is to get a letter from the Interstate VI office indicating that they will agree to accept your case and will supervise same conditions, etc...He then thinks once we have the letter to then approach Duane and/or his supervisor and request the transfer. He said if they won't agree to then approach the Circuit Administrator (Roz Baker). I suppose we could just have Jack go straight to her when we have letter. Up to you. Can we get a letter?? Also, I asked Chis if he has even heard of a CC case being transferred before and he said yes. He mentioned Michigan agreeing to the conditions and the case being transferred.
