An internal defense team chronology documenting the events surrounding Jeffrey Epstein's July 2019 cell incident with cellmate Nicholas Tartaglione, the handling of a mysterious note Epstein left, and authentication attempts before Epstein's death on August 10, 2019.
This document is a detailed legal chronology compiled by defense attorneys tracking key events from July 3-August 23, 2019, related to Jeffrey Epstein's time at the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC). It documents the timeline of Epstein's initial cell incident with cellmate Nicholas Tartaglione (a former police officer charged with quadruple murder), Epstein's placement on and removal from suicide watch, and crucially, the discovery and attempted authentication of a note Epstein left in a book for Tartaglione. The document references attorney Bruce Barket (BB), co-counsel, and investigator TR, revealing internal discussions about whether to disclose the note and concerns about its authenticity before Epstein's death on August 10, 2019.
