Internal law enforcement email documenting the U.S. Marshals Service investigation into Jeffrey Epstein's unreported international travel to Vienna and Morocco in 2019, a potential violation of International Megan's Law.
This is a July 2019 email exchange between the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Virgin Islands and the Southern District of New York regarding an ongoing investigation into Jeffrey Epstein's failure to report international travel as required by International Megan's Law. The documents show that Epstein signed the USVI sex offender registry travel notification form on March 15, 2019, but then traveled to Vienna, Austria on March 22, 2019 with three female passengers and to Morocco on April 25, 2019 without reporting either trip. The U.S. Marshals Senior Inspector leading the investigation explicitly warned that publicizing this information could hamper their ability to confirm the violations, especially given Epstein's resources.
