An email from defense attorney Bruce Barket requesting to view physical evidence from Jeffrey Epstein's July 23, 2019 suicide attempt, when Epstein was cellmates with Tartaglione's client Nicholas Tartaglione at Metropolitan Correctional Center.
This January 2020 email from attorney Bruce Barket of Barket Epstein Kearon Aldea & LoTurco seeks to arrange a viewing of physical evidence from the July 23, 2019 incident when Jeffrey Epstein was found semiconscious with neck injuries in the cell he shared with Nicholas Tartaglione, a former police officer facing murder charges. The evidence request came after it was revealed that surveillance video from outside the cell 'no longer exists' due to the MCC preserving footage from the wrong tier. Tartaglione's defense maintained he saved Epstein's life during a suicide attempt, while Epstein initially claimed his cellmate attacked him before retracting the accusation.
