A routine discovery production email from federal prosecutors to Ghislaine Maxwell's defense attorneys during her criminal trial in October 2021.
This is an internal legal correspondence from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York dated October 7, 2021, sent to Maxwell's defense team including attorneys Mark S. Cohen, Bobbi Sternheim, Laura Menninger, and Jeff Pagliuca. The email notifies defense counsel that additional discovery materials are ready for production via USAfx (a secure file transfer system) and will also be sent on CD to Maxwell at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC). This is standard pre-trial procedure—prosecutors routinely produce evidence to the defense in the months leading up to trial, which was scheduled to begin November 29, 2021.
