We strongly recommend that you make yourself familiar with the "Strike Guidelines" that were distributed a week or two ago. As always, the first priority will be building and resident security. Accordingly, you must pick-up a resident I.D. card for every person who will need access to your apartment (i.e. children, babysitters, dog walkers, housekeepers, etc.). These I.D. cards can be picked up from Andrew Losso, your building superintendent, or with the doorman. In the event of a strike, there will be a security person at the door who will only allow access to individuals with the I.D. card. We will not be holding any keys at the front desk. They will all be moved to the management office and not readily available. We will be using the "Buildinglink" system to communicate with all residents and I would recommend that each resident keep their specific "page" updated with information as to who should have access, contact info etc. If ou need lo in information again please contact Cecille from the office at ALL BUILDING SERVICES WILL HAVE TO BE HANDLED BY RESIDENT VOLUNTEERS. A volunteer sign-up sheet is posted in the lobby at the front desk and we are requesting help at the front desk. Please note that the compactor rooms will be locked and garbage containers will be in the backyard. All household garbage must be bagged in your apartments and then placed at the designated area in the backyard. All other bulk garbage or recycling (papers, plastics, corrugated boxes, etc.) must be kept in your apartment until the strike matter is resolved. Please review it to see what times your services may be most helpful. Ultimately, it is the participation of individual residents and an attitude of neighborliness, which makes all the difference in coping with the unfortunate event of a strike.
