Remember, the hearts of kings (prosecutors government officials and lawyers) are in the hands of Hashem. There is no trial down here without a verdict upstairs. There are specific things you should do to engender protection from above and attempt to turn things in your favor besides relying on lawyers etc... who are only puppets in a vastly larger game.
