Document DOJ-COURT-284 is a Joint Motion to Modify Discovery Deadlines filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 2009, pertaining to the case of JANE DOE NO. 2 versus JEFFREY EPSTEIN.
This legal document indicates that both Plaintiff Jane Doe No. 101 and Defendant Jeffrey Epstein, through their legal counsel, jointly requested a modification of the court's order regarding trial dates and discovery deadlines, with the aim of extending the discovery cut-off date from December 1, 2009, to January 22, 2010, and the Substantive Pre-Trial Motions deadline to February 1, 2010. The motion suggests ongoing settlement discussions between the parties, which, if successful, would save attorney time and judicial resources. Several related cases are listed within the document.
