The data tape contained social security and tax identificat on numbers, names and addresses. It did not contain any account numbers, balances or account activity At this point there is no evidence that the data from the tape was used inappropriately, nor do we believe that this information will be accessed by anyone since special hardware and software Is required to access the data. A letter will be received or the personal accounts in which individuals are eligible for Chase Identity Protection oar will offer free credit monitoring for one year.
