( Mark White and Tom Donney) this afternoon. They will be emailing me this afternoon with items they will need from us to start the process of working up what they referred to as an' energy generating plant with a diverse distribution system'. Over view: 1. They look at the system at a very high level - provide a financial model with high level budgeting. 2.They will design a solar system sized for LSJ load - after reviewing 24 months of bills. 3. Diverse distribution. WAPA has a max net metering systems size of 100K. Based on prelim on LSJ needs - requirement would be a 'self-sufficient' system - battery backup not net metering. Batteries would take up a size space as a 40ft container. Spoke about utilizing the existing generators currently on the Island as the backup. 4. First take is LSJ would be better suited economically with a ground mount system. Talked about needing 4-5 acres. A solar farm. Permitting will be a requirement. 5.
