Action Required: Upgrade to iOS 7.0.6
Lookout notice https://www.lookout.com/ On Friday, February 21st, Apple released iOS http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6147 7.0.6 which fixed a security vulnerability that allows attackers to intercept and alter user communications. For devices that aren't eligible to upgrade to iOS 7, Apple also released iOS http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6146 6.1.6 which fixes the same vulnerability. Lookout sent a notification to your device on Friday when this update became available, but because of the seriousness of this security flaw, we wanted to remind all of our users to upgrade to iOS 7.0.6 (or 6.1.6) as soon as possible, if you haven't already. To update your OS now: 1. Go to your Settings app 2. Tap General > Software Update 3. Tap Download and Install to download the update. 4. Tap Install when the download completes To verify that your system is up-to-date, you can open the Lookout app and make sure there is a green checkmark next to "Security." This security update fixes an SSL vulnerability that allows for man-in-the-middle attacks. In this type of attack, an individual can impersonate a trusted website to install malware or steal valuable data - effectively intercepting information like passwords that are sent between yourself and the intended website. If you didn't receive the update notification from Lookout, please make sure you have the latest version of Lookout installed and activated. You can download the latest version from the https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/lookout-backup-security-find/id434893913?mt=8 App Store .
