Walls would have carved plaster trim like the attached image and wide plaster stripes or perhaps a more primitive painted design like in the moroccan tent imagery...some moroccan furniture would be used, but in a lighter or white color...see attached for examples Moucharabieh screens (which would allow the air to flow nicely into the bath) or inlaid mother of pearl could be used for the door to the bathroom, the vanity and a custom designed armoire/nightstands...light wood or even whitewashed wood would be used rather than the dark wood for furniture/vanity...so that it feels more casual...
