They require a letter of request from the applicants stating whey they need a second passport. there is a sample letter in the attached pdf. I spoke to someone from 3G Visas about this as well, and they said in addition to the applicant writing a letter, they need a letter from a third person as well explaining why they need a second passport. Could you help in writing JE's letter and a letter from you as the "third person" explaining why he needs a second passport? The reason we do need one is that we are always traveling out of the country and need to apply for visas and don't have time usually to get them. An example would be our Africa trip we were planning.. we needed 3 different visas within a week and that was impossible without a second passport. I would like to get these sent out on Monday.. would you be able to write them by Monday afternoon? Thanks Darren..
