Mr. Paarmann graduated from the United States Military Academy of West Point, NY in 1988 and subsequently served as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army. He entered on duty with the FBI in 1996, assigned to divisions in Denver and San Juan. In 2004, Mr. Paarmann was designated the Legal Attache in Tbilisi, Georgia and then two years later in Kyiv, Ukraine. For the next decade, Mr. Paarman held numerous roles within FBI units focused on International Terrorism and Counterterrorism Investigations and Operations. He was named Special Agent in Charge of the Counterterrorism Division of the New York Office in July 2017. Mr. Paarmann recently retired from the F.B.I. in August 2019. Space is limited.
