News Cowgirl Bebop gets approval for major Coastal Zone Management permit The Board of Land Use Appeals voted Thursday to overturn a decision by the St. John Coastal Zone Management Committee, which had denied a major permit to Cowgirl Bebop LLLP for 10 moorings between Mingo and Grass cays. News Boschulte: V.I. fared better than neighbors in 2020 tourist season The numbers are in, and Tourism Commissioner Joseph Boschulte said the territory fared far better than its neighbors during the 2020 tourist season. Where stay-over visits to the Caribbean fell 65.5% based on reports from the Caribbean Tourism Organization -- and global tourism decreased 73.9% over the same period -- the Virgin Islands had a 35% reduction, he said.
